The hotel was unique, and fairly clean, and the location was great and incredible to the city centre in sir city centre. Meals were great, and there was Lowenbrau near the property.

Good sized room and central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel television inside. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was particularly nice. Good service and an outdoor restaurant onsite.

I had a nice stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was also very quiet, despite being centrally located. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a vibrant part of the city. The location is absolutely fantastic, right on the Hauptstrasse, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the Altstadt. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and always ready to assist with anything you may need. The rooms are spacious and stylish, with attention to detail and antique design that adds a touch of charm. I especially loved the little balcony in my room, it was a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the view. It's also worth mentioning that the breakfast included in the stay was delicious, offering a variety of options to start your day off right.
Everything was superb, nothing to complain about.

Great location, interesting design, with free wired internet and two adjacent very good restaurants. Can walk to most major sites, on the main pedestrian shopping street in the old town. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Only two points, some rooms are accessible (even after 3 floors on the elevator) with navigation of an additional bank of steep stairs. These are only for certain rooms, make sure to ascertain access of your room if you have physical challenges. Am sure they will accommodate as needed. Second, light at desk in my room was inadequate due to design decisions..."Hip",., but not practical. These vary, room toroom, so make your needs known.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, with its front entrance located on the bustling Hauptstrasse. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the charming Altstadt, as all major sites of interest are just a short walk away. The rooms are beautifully designed with unique antique touches, and some even have a delightful little balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast included with our room was a great bonus, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and we had no complaints.

An original restoration of a classic building. We stayed at room 'Paris' and it did feel like we were in a Monmartre attic ( a rather spacious one with a modern bathroom). The hotel is right on the main shopping street of the Old Town, still the room was very quiet.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and themed. I stayed in the Rome room, it was magical.
The staff was overall fantastic. However, I had an early morning flight out of Frankfurt and asked for a 4:45 am wake-up call. I never got the wake-up call but thankfully set my own alarm clock as well. When I got downstairs to the lobby to wait for my prearranged ride, an older gentleman came out who worked there and spoke zero English. Since I spoke no German, it was impossible and frustrating for both of us. Like I said, the staff otherwise was fantastic but it is very hard to check-out with a huge language barrier happening and surprised they would not have a night person who speaks English.

I loved the hotel's location. It was great to be in the heart of the action, right on the main tourist strip and close to everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The room was unique and well-decorated, with attention to detail and the cleanliness was superb. Breakfast was very satisfying with a lot of variety.
No negatives came to mind at all during my stay at the hotel.

We stayed at Heidelberg room. It's on the top of the building and surprisingly quite. The room was very spacious so it was great for my 15 months old son. Located in the middle of the town. Very satisfied. Design was very HIP, too. :-)

Without hesitation, my best hotel during my Europe for 20 day tour is Hip Hotel. Hotel staff gave us the most awesome room is Heidelberg room. I am a mother of two sons, 12and 17 years old. I enjoyed taking a backpack train tour, but the Hip hotel made our trip more luxurious tour.

The room was a nice size and with the bathroom and great veiws, for instance, had everything I needed. The breakfast with scrambled eggs and fresh bread, for example was very very good, you’ll find what you need. The staff was all especially helpful and professional.
There was elevator missing.
